Turkish Chess Federation has announced the second memorial tournament for Ali IPEK, who contributed a lot to the development of the Turkish chess. “2014 Ali İPEK Anı Turnuvası” will be held in Ankara, Turkey under the FIDE competition rules with 9 rounds of Swiss System.   Competition is limited with 100 participants and ELO/UKD ratings will be used for determining the final list. Digital chess sets will be used and real time broadcasting is planned for the occasion. Results will be used in ELO calculations, if the conditions are fulfilled.
